We all loved NCIS’s best laboratory scientist Abby Sciuto and it only showed as Q Score rated Pauley Perrette as one of the favorite US primetime actresses back in 2011. However, under the veil of secrecy and controversy of personal abuse, Perrette has announced she’ll be leaving the show after 15 long seasons and the CBS Crime show could be in trouble. Nonetheless, the cast has seen many changes over the years and we’ve seen many of the actors long-forgotten by now – so let’s revisit some of the original stars to know what have they been up to since the show first started airing back in 2003.

Mark Harmon - Still With NCIS
Mark Harmon started his acting career during the ‘70s but he is probably now best known for his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS. He joined the cast from the start back in 2003 and has continued to be a pivotal part of the show. The actor has been happily married to actress Pam Dawber since 1987 and they have two children together. Harmon just showed one bit of how big of a man he is when he saved a boy involved in a car accident back in 1996!
Lauren Holly - Ultra Low
Jenny Shepard's hip hairstyle and youthful glow on the show a decade ago still makes fans remember her character. Former NCIS director and Gibbs’ love went out with a bang too, as Lauren Holly left the show after five seasons, in 2008. She’s now working on a couple of new movies, including a 2018 meta drama hit in the making - Ultra Low – alongside Inception and The Karate Kid star Yuji Okumoto.
David McCallum - NCIS
One of the recognizable names in Hollywood, David McCallum has had many great roles in his career. The actor was cast for the role of Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard on NCIS and has been playing the character from Day One. When it comes to his private life, the actor’s first marriage to Jill Ireland ended in a divorce but he has been happy with Katherine Carpenter all the way back since 1967, with six grandchildren.
Michael Weatherly - Bull
When Michael Weatherly got the part as Anthony DiNozzo on the series NCIS, he gained a huge female fan base worldwide, thanks to his great looks and beautiful smile. After many years, the actor decided it was time to leave the show in order to build on his acting career further. These days, Weatherly plays the lead role of Dr. Jason Bull in the drama series, Bull.
Sean Murray - NCIS
Sean Murray showed great talent and love for acting from an early age, as he is the son of the TV producer Donald P. Bellisario. He entered the entertainment world in the early ‘90s with some minor roles, including the TV series Harts of the West and JAG. His part as Timothy McGee on NCIS was also a guest role during the first season but at the beginning of the second season, Murray became a regular and remained one of the main characters.
Joe Spano - NCIS
Joe Spano was a well-known face even before NCIS, as he enjoyed the role of Henry Goldblume on Hill Street Blues. He also played parts in Batman Beyond and The Mentalist, but the seventy-something actor is now best known as Gibbs’ FBI friend Tobias C. Fornell. He obviously still doesn’t want to consider retirement as Spano has an NCIS role confirmed through 2018.
Jennifer Esposito - Speed Kills
Jennifer Esposito was known for her roles in Crash and Summer of Sam before joining NCIS for two seasons in 2016 and 2017. Alex Quinn gained the fans’ love in just 24 episodes and life will probably not be the same for the recognized actress and author. Esposito has recently enjoyed a bit as Lynnette Belmont on Blindspot and now works on Speed Kills alongside Katheryn Winnick and John Travolta.
Emily Wickersham - NCIS
Emily Wickersham already started making a name for herself in movies such as Gardener of Eden, Remember Me, and Gone before joining NCIS back in 2013. It’s been five years since she had replaced Cote de Pablo as the team’s NSA Analyst, featuring in 113 episodes so far and the stunning blonde with a nice hair has been a bittersweet pleasure for the fans from Day One.
Liza Lapira - 9JKL
Liza Lapira has made a star for herself in 21, Law & Order, as well as many appearances in popular shows such as The Sopranos, Grey’s Anatomy, and Dexter. The actress joined NCIS in a recurring role from 2006 to 2008 but continued boosting her earnings afterward, with roles in Fast & Furious, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and many more.
